The worldwide hummus market is ever-growing with the sector projected to reach $1.1 billion by 2022, Kasih Food Production Co, based in Jordan, is looking to disrupt the market with the launch of Mézete, which has an extended shelf life of 18 months.

FoodBev Media's Darren Wood spoke with general manager of the company Khaled Kasih about the hummus product, working with Tetra Pak on its aseptic packaging and what the company has planned for the future.

Ian Webb is well known in the UK water industry and his experience began in 1993 before setting up The UK Water Group in 1995. As a pioneer in mains-fed water filtration and purification systems, the business became UK market leader within seven years, across all sectors.

Ian has since worked with a leading Israel-based water equipment manufacturer, bringing the concept to the UK under the Virgin brand and renamed ‘Virgin Pure Water’.

Now with start-up Vitapure Drinks Company he's launching the Vitastream Drink Station into the UK.
