Husky has introduced its new multi-layered technology which allows consumers to design in the amount of protection within the package, whether it be a plant based beverage or a coconut water, that's needing a more sustained shelf life. RC Cola has unveiled its no sugar variant as the company aims to move away from stevia in its products. RC Cola's Moshy Cohen told FoodBev Media: "I think the market divided into two groups, people that don't care about sugar or those who want to reduce sugar consumption with go for no sugar variants. "I'm unsure consumers liked the texture of stevia, the mouth feel it can provide and also I don't think the mid-calorie concept of lower sugar products really caught on with consumers. There are those who will have one RC with full sugar and then there's those that will have 10 RC's without any sugar at all. "There's no mid-calorie point." |

Endress + Hauser, a supplier of products, solutions and services for industrial process measurement and automation, has unveiled its new self-calibrating sensor called TrustSens. The company has said that this new sensor is designed for customers in the food & beverage industries who require 100% compliance with FDA and GMP regulations. The new thermometer offers process reliability and system availability through permanent inline self-calibration, thus eliminating the risk of non-compliance during production.
