Swiss-based closures company, Corvaglia has showcased a 96 cavity injection moulding machine called the Aqua 2522, which produces 26mm caps in a cycle time of under 2.5 seconds, enabling the company to meet the most stringent requirements of bottlers. Rexnord has released its new Dry-PT TableTop and MatTop chains as the company claims the Dry-PT material was developed specifically for high-speed conveyor lines to be used with or without lubrication. Paul van der Meer spoke with FoodBev Media’s Darren Wood about the Dry-PT material, explaining that the company chose its bright lime-green colour to visualise the need for conveyor cleaning when applicable, in order to maintain the required low-friction level. |
